Relix Magazine, the second longest continually published music magazine in America, will celebrate 50 years on Wednesday, January 15 at Brooklyn Bowl, celebrating with a performance by Taper’s Choice, friends and casual acquaintances.

Special guests have now been announced, giving a broad swath of performers and musicians in the jam scene to the evening, including harpist Mikaela Davis, Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten, guitarists Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton from JRAD. plus Phish bassist Mike Gordon and many more.

Lead singer of Guster, Ryan Miller, bassist Karina Rykman, Dr. Dog drummer Eric Slick, and The Greyboy Allstars’ organist Robert Walter are among the other recent additions.
They join previously announced participants Taper’s Choice – Chris Tomson (Vampire Weekend), Alex Bleeker (Real Estate), Dave Harrington (DARKSIDE) and Zach Tenorio-Miller (Arc Iris) – trumpeter Jordan Mclean, woodwind multi-instrumentalist Stuart Bogie, DJead Night – featuring Conrad Doucette from Day of the Dead and Scott Devendorff of The National – and late-night entertainment from DJ Logic.
