Buggy Jive is headlining Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs this winter. The performance will take place on December 10th to celebrate the release of his new album Daedalus Down.
After various performances at Caffè Lena, this performance marks his first time headlining the venue. The show will feature solo acoustic arrangements from his 2025 album Icarus Ascending and its companion album Daedalus Down. Along with tracks from his new albums, the concert will include some old favorites.
Buggy Jive is an award-winning singer-songwriter who has historically performed infrequently. Until recently, the singer-songwriter has spent most of his time in his basement, self-producing soul rock albums. Some of his inspirations include Led Zeppelin, D’Angelo, Prince, and Joni Mitchell. The artist has recently emerged from the basement and has been performing more and more, most recently opening for Macy Gray and Ben Folds.
Buggy Jive is experiencing a period of career growth following a year of significant accomplishments. He has received four awards at the Capital Region Eddies Music Awards. Among his four awards were Singer-Songwriter of the Year and Album of the Year for his 2025 album, Icarus Ascending. This headlining performance marks continued momentum for Buggy Jive.
Buggy Jive’s headlining concert at Caffè Lena is celebrating the upcoming release of his new album Daedalus Down. The album, which releases on December 8th, is a sequel to his previous album Icarus Ascending. While it originally started as an EP, the project expanded over time into a full companion album with nine new songs. Each song on Daedalus Down has a thematic counterpart on Icarus Ascending, further exploring Icarus’s themes. The two singles from the album, “Meaning in the Morning” and “Love at 50 Percent,” are available to stream.
Tickets are currently available for the concert and can be purchased on Caffè Lena’s website here.
