Hudson Valley

The sprawling Hudson Valley has more small towns than any part of the state – at least by our count. Within all these towns, you’ll find roots of American music history spread throughout.

Binghamton

The Parlor City of Binghamton, located on the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers, is home to the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra.

Grateful Dead shows in NY

In compiling these calendars, a genre-specific – but really, band-specific – website popped up. GratefulDeadTributeBands.com started in 2009 as a ‘one man gathers’ mission to compile the vast number of concerts keeping the music of the Grateful Dead alive.

Ithaca and the Southern Tier

The city of Ithaca, situated on Cayuga Lake, is home to the State Theatre, the infamous Barton Hall Grateful Dead show in 1977, as well as home to an annual reggae fest you won’t want to miss.
