2hollis at Gov Ball 2026 by JNSILVA

2hollis

Over on the Main Stage, 2hollis kept Day 2’s momentum high with a midday set that felt chaotic and stylish at the same time. Known for blending experimental hip-hop, rage, EDM, and electropop, his sound hits with a hard force that you can feel in your bones. His makeup and stage attire added to the performance’s visual edge, while his dancing, crowd work, and nonstop movement helped him control the tone of the set from start to finish.

The crowd erupted for fan-favorites like “jeans,” and even when he introduced “poster boy” as his least favorite song, the reaction was massive. Midway through the set, he stripped off his shirt, drawing cheers from the crowd and adding to the raw energy of the performance.

Major Lazer at Gov Ball 2026 by Emma Wannie

Major Lazer

Major Lazer brought one of the biggest crowds and highest energy sets of Gov Ball so far, turning the Snapchat Stage into a full summer party despite incoming weather their set earlier. The group, made up of Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums, and newest member America Foster, brought their blend of dancehall, EDM, reggae, and global pop straight to Queens. Fans climbed onto each other’s shoulders, hands stayed in the air, and the energy never dipped as they ran through massive hits like “Lean On,” “Light It Up,” and mixes of Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina” and Bad Bunny’s “EoO.” With bright visuals, nonstop dancing, and a crowd that felt completely locked in from start to finish, Major Lazer absolutely delivered.

Their overall stage presence was sharp and engaging, setting the tone well before their Gov Ball After Dark shower later that evening at Baby’s All Right.

Wisp

Wisp brought a dreamy set built around her soft, beautiful vocals and waves of heavy guitar riffs and drums. Her sound blended shoegaze with great intensity, creating a performance that felt both delicate and powerful. As the guitars swelled behind her voice, the set pulled the crowd into a more atmospheric space, making them a great standout to the day’s lineup.

Governors Ball 2026 Day 2
Stray Kids at Governors Ball 2026 by Maggie London

Stray Kids

Stray Kids felt like the center of Day 2 long before they even took the stage. Throughout the festival grounds, fans could be spotted in Stray Kids merch, trading bracelets, taking photos, and showing up with friends and family. When the group finally arrived, the crowd was massive, and the performance matched that. Each member brought their own unique style and stage presence with sharp choreography and theatrical visuals that made the set feel more like a movie than your typical performance.

Their set was also shaped by the incoming weather, which forced Gov Ball to adjust the schedule and bring Stray Kids on earlier. The storm unfortunately led to the cancellation of Kali Uchis, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Blood Orange’s Saturday sets, though Gov Ball later updated Sunday’s lineup to include Blood Orange at 4:00 PM> Even with the disruptions, Stray Kids gave fans a huge closing moment and a memorable performance.
