Saratoga Springs singer-songwriter Cassandra Kubinski’s new acoustic album will be getting a special preview. Kubinski comes home to Caffè Lena on July 23 to preview her newest album, Dance Moms Acoustics and Lyrical Solos.
Kubinski has worked with artists such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Sawyer Fredericks, Anna Nalick, and more. She recently performed in Carnegie Hall with GRAMMY nominee jazz artist Charu Suri. In May, she hosted a folk showcase on radio station WFUV.

However, she is best known for her work on the television show Dance Moms. She is the creator behind the show’s most most viral songs. Some of these songs include “Save You Tonight,” “Open Waters,” and “Halfway to Heaven.”
“I never imagined that the songs I was writing on my keyboard in various NYC apartments would reach the globe through a TV show, much less one focused on dance.” Kubinski shared. “It was really full circle for me because I took jazz, tap, ballet, and was a musical theatre actress/dancer as a kid.”
Kubinski provided the unofficial soundtrack to dancers Maddie Ziegler, Nia Sioux, Chloe Lukasiak, and more. She also frequently collaborates with dance teacher Abby Lee Miller.
Her newest album sees her performing those same songs with an acoustic rendition. She wrote a total of 13 songs for the show, 9 of which are on the acoustic album. These renditions will be driven by her playing of the piano, creating an intimate musical moment.
The Caffe Lena event will be an exclusive preview of the album with Kubinski and special guests. Ticket holders will also receive a link to listen to the acoustic album for free prior to its release in August.
Cassandra Kubinski will perform at Caffe Lena on Thursday, July 23 from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are available for purchase here.
