Saratoga County has scheduled a wide variety of entertainment for their New Year’s Eve festivities. With 2027 marking the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Saratoga, this is a particularly special year for the city. To celebrate, three Saratoga Springs venues will host free concerts for the public.

The festivities on Dec. 31 will begin with a fireworks display at 6 p.m., set off from the top of the City Center’s parking garage. Following the fireworks, three venues in downtown Saratoga Springs will host a wide variety of live performers. Thanks to organizations and sponsors covering the cost of the event, the festivities are completely free for all attendees.
These performers are all winners and nominees from the 2026 Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards (“The Eddies”). With a diverse range of genres such as pop, indie, hip hop, funk, folk, soul, rock, and electronica, Saratoga New Year’s Eve has something for all audiences. Darryl Leggieri, the president of Discover Saratoga, commented, “Offering free live music in downtown Saratoga Springs is a great way to bring people together, support our local businesses, and showcase what makes our community such a special place to live and visit.”
The Saratoga Springs City Center will host the largest variety of artists. TV Doctors, E Block, Tops of Trees, Mark & Jill, Shannon Tehya, Aila Chiar, DJ Jungle Punk, and DJ HollyW8D will all perform between different stages in the venue. The Universal Preservation Hall will feature E.R.I.E. and The Jagaloons, and Caffe Lena will once again host Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band.

After a New Year’s Eve full of live music, the Saratoga community can participate in the annual Saratoga First Day 5K Road Race. Starting at 11 a.m., this family-friendly 5K takes participants on a tour of Broadway, the Spring Run Trail, and the city’s residential east side.
Saratoga New Year’s Eve tickets, in the form of buttons, are free to reserve online. These buttons include access to all three concert venues throughout the night. Additionally, premium buttons can be purchased for access to the Universal Preservation Hall’s VIP Lounge.
