Syracuse’s Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview has announced the beginning of their upcoming season’s performances from May to September, including Dave Matthews Band, Avril Lavigne, Luke Bryan and more.

Offering stunning lakeside views of Syracuse, visitors are able to take in the beauty of Upstate New York whilst listening to their favorite musicians. The state-of-the-art performance venue makes the perfect summer activity for attendees of all ages and interests.

Tuesday, May 17 – Dave Matthews Band

Infamous rock band Dave Matthews Band will begin the season on May 17. Throughout their illustrious career, the band has accumulated over 38 million CD and DVD sales and over 25 million tickets sold to their electric performances. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band has also pledged to decrease their environmental footprint throughout their tours.

Wednesday, May 28 – Avril Lavigne: The Greatest Hits

Avril Lavigne will take on Lakeview on May 28 with openers and fellow punk bands Simple Plan and We The Kings. Lavigne is set to perform her best hits and new projects, including “Sk8ter Boi,” “Complicated,” “Girlfriend” and more. The singer dominated the 2000s with her creativity and projects, such as her debut album, Let Go, and her following albums, Under My Skin and The Best Damn Thing. The infamous singer creates high anticipation for attendees to relive the younger days of the world in May.

Friday, May 30 – Coheed and Cambria & Mastodon: The Infinite Arc Tour

New York native progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria and heavy metal band Mastodon will present The Infinite Arc Tour on May 30, featuring openers Periphery. Founded in 1995, Coheed and Cambria has since released 11 studio albums, three live albums and multiple special release albums. The band carries influences and familiar sounds of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and Thin Lizzy. Mastodon’s lineup of recognized albums, such as Remission (2007), Leviathan and Terrorizer, has gained the band critical acclaim. Throughout the years, the band has reached Billboard charts and GRAMMY award nominations for their unique blend of sound.

Thursday, June 5 – Luke Bryan: Country Song Came On Tour

Country pop singer-songwriter Luke Bryan will deliver his famous country tunes on June 5, alongside openers and guest artists George Birge, Ashland Craft, Adrien Nunez and DJ Rock. With hit songs like “Country Girl (Shake it For Me),” Bryan is a five-time “Entertainer of the Year” recipient appearing as a judge on the popular show “American Idol” since 2018. He is recognized as one of the world’s best selling artists, with over 75 million records sold throughout his illustrious career.

Friday, July 11 – Creed: Summer of ‘99 Tour

Creed will perform at Lakeview on July 11 with special guests 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH. The performance is set to feature Creed’s biggest hits from their decorated career. With over 11 million monthly listeners, this performance is anticipated to create an unforgettable summer night experience for all attendees. After an 11-year hiatus, the band’s resurgence in 2023 has led to record-breaking and unforgettable performances for adults reminiscing the past and new listeners of the band.

Monday, July 14 – Styx & Kevin Cronin + Don Felder: The Brotherhood of Rock Tour

Rock band Styx, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon and Eagles lead guitarist Don Felder will join together on July 14. Styx is most recognizably a band that has made Billboard’s Hot 100 multiple times throughout their years, including eight singles that hit the Top 10 charts and 16 Top 40 singles. Though REO Speedwagon has now completed their time together, Cronin will perform with his touring band, continuing to deliver high-quality performances. Following his departure from the Eagles, Felder continues to play the guitar on numerous projects, including the Bees Gees’ 1981 album Living Eyes and albums by Diana Ross.

Tuesday July 22 – The Offspring: SUPERCHARGED Worldwide

Rock band The Offspring will perform at Lakeview on July 22 alongside supporting acts Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory. The Offspring’s stop in Syracuse is part of the band’s world tour celebrating their new album, SUPERCHARGED, including performances in Japan, Australia and Europe. Since their beginnings in 1984, the band has made appearances on notable networks like “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and have celebrated milestones, such as their song “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” joining the Spotify Billions Club. The band celebrated their 30 year anniversary in December 2023 at Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, and aims to continue releasing creative projects, celebrating their projects with their fan base around the world.

Wednesday, July 23 – Barenaked Ladies: Last Summer on Earth Tour 2025

Canadian rock band Barenaked Ladies will perform on July 23 with support from fellow rock bands Sugar Ray and Fastball. Featuring Ed Robertson (guitar/vocals), Jim Creeggan (bass/vocals), Kevin Hearn (keyboards/guitar/vocals) and Tyler Stewart (drums/vocals), Barenaked Ladies’ accolades include GRAMMY nominations, over 15 million albums sold, Juno Awards recipients and Canadian Music’s Hall of Fame inductees. The band’s accreditation continues to grow as they prepare to relesetheir upcoming album, In Flight – Carry On, on May 16.

Friday, August 1 – Little Big Town: Summer Tour 2025

Country group Little Big Town will take on Lakeview on August 1 with support from Wynonna Judd and Shelby Lynne. Since its formation in 1998, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook have brought new sounds to the country world with their top 10 hits “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home” and “Little White Church,” among others. The summer tour travels throughout the United States, making other stops within New York throughout the month. The group aims for audiences to start “makin’ waves and catchin’ rays, all summer” with their unforgettable tour performances.

Sunday, August 10 – Outlaw: Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Turnpike Troubadours & More

The Outlaw Music Festival will take place at Lakeview on August 10, featuring performances by Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Turnpike Troubadours, The Red Clay Strays and Waylon Payne. This year’s tour is the biggest one to date for the festival, featuring a lineup of many recognizable and industry-challenging musicians and artists. Country singer Willie Nelson, singer-songwriter Bob Dylan and Oklahoma-based country band Turnpike Troubadours are all expected to bring their best performances and singles to Syracuse, creating a lively atmosphere for the evening.

Sunday, August 17 – Cody Jinks: The Hippies and Cowboys Tour

Country singer-songwriter Cody Jinks presents The Hippies and Cowboys Tour at Lakeview on August 17 with supporting act Tanner Usrey. The 2025 tour celebrates Jinks’ releases, including his 2024 project Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell and his new 2025 single, “Snake Bite.” The singer’s 2016 breakout album, I’m Not the Devil, reached the fourth rank on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, naming Jinks as one of country’s notable voices. With an authentic sound that cuts through the hustle and bustle of the country industry, Jinks’ performance in August is set to deliver a raw, authentic version and sound of the country artist to Syracuse.

Thursday, August 21 – Thomas Rhett: Better In Boots Tour 2025

Notable country singer Thomas Rhett will perform at Lakeview along his Better In Boots Tour on August 21, featuring supporting acts Tucker Wetmore and The Castellows. The GRAMMY-nominated country singer-songwriter has produced over 20 Billboard Hot Country singles, including “It Goes Like This,” “Get Me Some of That,” “Make Me Wanna” and “Crash and Burn.” His latest 2024 project, About a Woman, includes “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Woman,” to which Rhett released a remixed single with fellow country singer Teddy Swims. The singer’s performance in Syracuse is anticipated to be a festive night for country music-lovers and listeners.

Thursday, August 28 – Tedeschi Trucks Band & Whiskey Myers: Live in 25

Rock bands Tedeschi Trucks Band and Whiskey Myers will host a joint performance on August 28 at Lakeview. Tedeschi Trucks Band, consisting of Sysan Tedeschi (guitar/vocals), Derek Trucks (guitar), Mike Mattison (guitar/vocals), Gabe Dizon (keys/vocals) and more, received a GRAMMY award for their 2011 debut album, Revelator. Whiskey Myers, consisting of Cody Cannon (vocals/guitar/harmonica), Cody Tate (guitar/vocals), John Jeffers (guitar/lap steel/vocals), Jeff Hogg (drums), Jamey Gleaves (bass) and Tony Kent (percussion/keys), have continued to shape their unique sound since their 2014 breakout album, Early Morning Shakes.

Thursday, September 4 – HARDY: Jim Bob World Tour 

Country and rock fusion singer-songwriter HARDY is set to perform at Lakeview on Sept. 4, featuring supporting acts Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Sikarus. HARDY is set to perform his upcoming EP, Country!, throughout his world tour, along with the musician’s previous projects and singles. His singles “Give Heaven Some Hell,” “One Beer” and “Wait in the Truck” charted in the U.S. and Canada throughout their releases, with his 2023 album The Mockingbird & the Crow topping country music charts soon after its release.

Thursday, September 11 – KROCK Presents: Papa Roach & Rise Against: Rise of the Roach Tour

Rock bands Papa Roach and Rise Against will join together on September 11, featuring supporting artist Underoath. Consisting of current members Jacoby Shaddiz (vocals), Jerry Horton (guitars/vocals), Tobin Esperance (bass/vocals) and Tony Palermo (drums), Papa Roach’s most recent single, “Even If It Kills Me,” anticipates the band’s upcoming project. Punk band Rise Against’s new single, “Prizefighter,” is the anticipated single of the band’s upcoming project, similar to Papa Roach.
