Caffè Lena and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center are collaborating again this year for their popular free day-long concert “Caffè Lena @ SPAC,” taking place Saturday, October 3 from noon to 5:30 pm on the Charles R. Wood Stage.
Caffè Lena is widely recognized as the longest continually running folk music venue in the US. Carrying on the unique collaboration between the two organizations, the concert will feature performances from five different acts that span across bluegrass, jazz, soul, R&B, pop, and folk genres on SPAC’s historic outdoor stage.

12-12:50 PM | Bad Penny Pleasuremakers
Matt Bell & Joy Patterson bring Louisiana roots to ragtime, blues, and traditional jazz. Their band features talented musicians, including longtime Saratoga Springs resident Johnathan Greene.
1:10-2:00 PM | The Cody Sisters
Maddie Cody, Megan Cody, and Will Pavilonis combine bluegrass roots, rich harmonies, and impressive musicianship. Their latest album, All the Quiet People reflects on life on the road, literature, and the stories that connect us all.
2:20-3:10 PM | Alla Boara
Led by Anthony Teddeo and Amanda Powell, Alla Boara blends ancient Italian folk songs with jazz, improvisation, and contemporary sound, creating an adventurous celebration of ancestral roots and universal stories.
3:30-4:20 PM | Addison Agen
Indie-folk/Americana singer known for her powerful voice and heartfelt songs about hope, acceptance, and joy. Agen is a former runner-up on The Voice and now performs both in alternative-folk duo Fielder and solo.
4:40- 5:30 PM | Vanessa Collier
Four-time Blues Music Award winner Vanessa Collier brings powerhouse vocals, saxophone, and a bold mix of blues, soul, R&B, and funk. Do It My Own Way, her latest album, is a Memphis soul-inspired celebration of independence and resilience.
