BODEGA Announces New Album “All Inside Aquarium,” Plus New Single and Music Video

Brooklyn rock band BODEGA has a lot of new material to share. The band announced their fourth album, All Inside Aquarium, set for an October 9 release date. Along with the announcement came the release of the album’s title track and music video.

The band’s new album will see some experimentation and exploration of different musical sounds, according to singer Ben Hozie. Looking to return to their roots as a “proper rock band,” Hozie says the band’s new album sounds like a “late ‘80s/early ‘90s Stone Roses-meets-Jane’s Addiction thing, with more riffing and guitar solos.”

Furthermore, the band’s fourth album brought them to new places. In exploring different sounds, they also explored different methods of recording the album. They recorded the album in Leeds, England, with the studio being set up in a deconsecrated church. Perhaps it made for some good acoustics.

“Pick Up The Check” is the leading single for the album with an artsy music video accompanying the release. The song has a bit of a UK influence, reminiscent of that early Stone Roses sound that Hozie talked about.

“All Inside Aquarium” is the newest single with a music video that looks like something straight out of 90s MTV. The melodies don’t just come from the vocals, but the instruments as well, creating that psychedelic rock feel.

Afterwards, they will embark on a European tour visiting Spain, France, the Netherlands, and the UK.
