An array of acclaimed artists including, Zane Lowe, LADYGUNN, Atwood Magazine, and more have recognized ROREY. She is known for taking “raw confession” and turning it into distinctive musical art that works to heal while simultaneously unsettling its listeners.

In 2025, ROREY’s sophomore EP, Dysphoria, is a great example of her ability to place unique and haunting melodies alongside ethereal voices, creating a distinctive and powerful sound.

Dysphoria captures the chaos and disorientation that many young artists experience as they attempt to find a deeper meaning in their work and in the world around them.

Regarding her latest single, ‘Dying Fire,’ ROREY states, “ ‘Dying Fire’ sits in this space between love and impossibility. The song doesn’t blame or excuse, it simply states with radical acceptance that what once was can never be again. Similar to ‘Temporary Tragedy,’ love can only go so far when one person is left carrying it alone.”

ROREY’s new music video for ‘Dying Fire’ captures the meaning behind the single, creating a unique visual story for listeners to follow as they listen.

Her new single, ‘Temporary Tragedy,’ is raw and poignant, describing the spiraling chaos that often follows the end of a relationship. ROREY accompanies the single with a music video that physically and visually captures this spiraling.

ROREY comments on the single, stating, “The song is about the cost of self-abandonment when you grip intimacy and what it means to choose yourself. The video is rooted in my first queer relationship, its message is universal: sometimes love isn’t enough to bridge the gap between hope and reality, when the other person can’t meet you there.”

Regarding her forthcoming album, Temporary Tragedy, ROREY highlights, “The album is essentially about two people who couldn’t make it work, no matter how much they loved each other, because what they wanted and they needed were at odds. In the end, they both got hurt in the face of love never fully realized. It holds space for both people’s experience, almost as a shared ache.”

Both singles and music videos are available on Spotify and Youtube. More information about ROREY can be found on her Instagram page.
