The Molotov Movement, an independent street reggae, punk and dub project out of the Buffalo area dropped his newest single “Crystal Clear” on Oct. 16. The track will be featured in the upcoming seven-track EP Wicked & Bad on Oct. 30.
Inspired by reggae riddims and dub, “Crystal Clear” explores the idea of being deceived. With The Molotov Movement’s capturing vocals about coming out of the haze of a “masquerade” echoing over a slow, groovy rhythm that builds throughout the track, keyboard, guitar and bass take center stage in the mix.
Based out of Lockport, The Molotov Movement writes, records and releases all tracks solo with the goal of shedding light on issues like betrayal, heartbreak and corruption in today’s world through punk-driven, reggae sounds.

The Molotov Movement has released four singles in 2026, the most recent being “Crystal Clear.” His first single, a demo of “Kraahzie,” was released in May of 2026, followed by “Brand New Skank (Instrumental)” in June and “In God We Trust” in August. “In God We Trust” and “Kraahzie” will also be featured on the Oct. 30 Wicked and Bad EP.
“In God We Trust” is driven by rage, with shouting vocals that transports the listener to a protest. The intense vocals over rhythmic yet uneasy guitar strums and a fast rhythm round out the track. Although “Kraahzie” is a demo, the reggae roots are palpable with bass guitar leading the track over groovy keyboard rhythms.
