Celebrated hip hop group Cypress Hill has announced two shows at Manhattan’s Irving Plaza for Halloween weekend. These shows come as the newest set in the band’s annual tradition of “Haunted Hill” Halloween shows.
Each night of this year’s Haunted Hill will feature different support acts. Cypress Hill will be joined by Immortal Technique and Lord Sko on Saturday, Oct. 31, and by Mellow Man Ace (ft. Krooked Treez) and Planta Industrial on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Cuban rapper Mellow Man Ace has far more significance to Cypress Hill than his involvement in Haunted Hill as a support act. He was one of the band’s founding members, later leaving the group to pursue a solo career. In addition to Mellow Man Ace’s scheduled performance in the Nov. 1 Haunted Hill show, he is featured on the song “Campeones” from Cypress Hill’s newest album, Dios Bendiga.
Dios Bendiga, the band’s first full-length album since 2022, was released in July and has received significant acclaim from critics, including NPR, Billboard, and Rolling Stone. As the band’s first Spanish-language album, it pays homage to their Latin American roots.
Tickets for this year’s Haunted Hill shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28. More information is available on the Cypress Hill website.
