The Lake George Music Festival will return to Lake George, New York for its 16th season from May 31 to June 11.
Over the past 16 seasons, the Lake George Music Festival has become known on the international stage as one of the nation’s most coveted artist retreats. The classical music festival will feature two weeks of chamber music and orchestral concerts, curated by co-founders Barbora Kolarova and Roger Kali and performed in the Carriage House at the Fort William Henry Hotel. Over 80 musicians, composers and guest artists will be in residence.

The festival will bring rising talent from the nation’s leading conservatories and professional orchestras to the stage. They will play alongside internationally recognized performers, composers and mentors. Attendees will be provided with the unique opportunity to experience young artists at the beginning of major careers.
“This festival is about discovering artists before the rest of the world does,” said Alexander Lombard, co-founder & CEO of the Lake George Music Festival. “There’s something incredibly special about hearing musicians at this stage of their careers, in our venue where audiences are just feet away from the performance — and where the creative process is still unfolding.”
Since the festival’s founding in 2011, more than 1,000 musicians have participated. Many of these alumni have since won Grammy Awards, received the Pulitzer Prize in Music, taught at the nation’s top conservatories and performed in the world’s leading orchestras.
The 2026 season will feature two major orchestra performances, late-night and immersive concert experiences aboard local cruise vessels, signature events such as Winds & Wine and Piano Mania!, numerous open rehearsals and an expansive chamber music series. Special events include the Victorian Tea Fundraiser on June 2 and the Musician Dinner Cruise on June 7.
