The Hoochenanny Festival announced its 2027 dates for its fourth annual festival. The festival returns to Center Park West in Fairport, August 13-15. The announcement comes following a record-breaking year for the festival in 2026

Founders and owners of the festival, Sean McCarthy and Tommy Brunett, launched the event back in 2024, and it has been a growing success ever since. In 2026, the festival had more than 18,000 attendees visiting from over 30 different states and even Canada. This was a record for the festival, doubling the previous year’s amount of 8,000. “We’ve been blown away by the amount of positive feedback we’ve received since the festival,” said Sean McCarthy. “We’re already deep into planning for 2027, and it’s exciting to think about what we can build from here.”

The event is a celebration of American Craftmanship through world-class whiskey, live music, and festival experiences. The Hoochenanny Festival brings together international, national, and regional artists alongside national and regional distilleries. This makes the festival a unique combination of celebrating music alongside celebrating whiskey. The festival also gives back by celebrating whiskey and raising money for charity through its World of Whiskey events. In 2026, the whiskey auction raised $18,690 for Make-A-Wish Western New York, the Lou Gramm Foundation, and Friends of Perinton Recreation and Parks.
In 2026, the festival featured 23 concerts across three days. Beyond the music, World of Whiskey brought together 40 whiskey brands and more than 140 spirits. Lager Land also showcased regional breweries, along with independent makers being featured as well. There will also be local food and beverage vendors spread throughout the festival, alongside premium hospitality experiences.

The Hoochenanny Festival has been a major outlet for regional artists to showcase their talent and perform for a festival audience. In 2025, 5 regional bands were selected to perform at the festival, and the event was a huge success. In 2026, the festival received over 150 applications and ultimately selected 10 regional bands to perform. Expect 2027 to continue the tradition of promoting regional talent to new audiences at the Hoochenanny Festival.
The 2027 festival will mark its second year and take place at Center Park West. Additional information regarding lineup, experiences, tickets, and on-sale information will be released in early 2027.
