“Songs from the Trail” features songwriters Bryan Titus, Marc Apostolides and Shawn Taylor’s original songs and stories from their experiences hiking. The multi-media exploration project covers moments from the Appalachian Trail, the Long Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and the John Muir Trail, bringing three distinctly different musical styles and perspectives of “re-hiking” such trails.

Apostolides plays a deft piano and sings from the heart, pulling influences from Bruce Hornsby and Jackson Browne. Taylor cultivates roots music through his guitar, foot percussion, harmonica and soulful vocals, sharing stages with notable performers like Maria Muldaur. Titus, a graduate of Berklee Music School, is a song-writing machine and has opened for notable artists such as Keb’ Mo’. Titus’ musicianship on guitar, paired with his soothing vocals, is “Passionate, familiar and distinct at the same time,” LA Examiner writer Will Engel said.
