Nine Inch Nails has announced the “Peel It Back” tour, marking the band’s first live outing since 2022, including a stop at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross) is an industrial rock band and the most recognized one since the genre was introduced. Before Ross’s inclusion in 2016, Nine Inch Nails was solely under the creative direction of Trent Reznor and Atticus rotating cast of supporting musicians.
The band has varied over the decades, with various members leaving and returning; the most recent lineup consists of Robin Finck (who initially joined in 1994), Alessandro Cortini (who initially joined in 2005), and Ilan Rubin (who initially joined in 2008) alongside Reznor and Ross.
Nine Inch Nails was formed in Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1988, and has so far released eleven full-length studio albums, four Eps, seventeen singles, several remix collections, and some live material. Reznor’s lyrics are largely concerned with the exploration of the self, but with albums such as Year Zero and The Slip, the lyrical focus shifted somewhat to extrospection.

The headline run will kick off on Sunday, June 15, in Dublin, Ireland, at 3Arena, and take the band across Europe, including stops in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and more. The European leg will also feature major festival appearances at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium, Open’er in Gdynia, Poland, and Mad Cool in Madrid, Spain, among others.
The band’s 2022 world tour, which included a mixture of headline shows and festival headlining slots, earned stellar reviews. Kerrang hailed Nine Inch Nails London shows as “one of the year’s most exceptional gigs…[from] a live band that, on form like this, is inarguably the best in the world. Bow down.” Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, Nine Inch Nails has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
The North American leg will launch on Wednesday, August 6, in Oakland, CA, at Oakland Arena. Nine Inch Nails will also headline arenas in Portland, OR; Vancouver, BC; Chicago, IL; Toronto, ON; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; Nashville, TN; Houston, TX, and more. The tour will wrap up on Thursday, September 18, in Los Angeles, CA, at the Kia Forum.
Tickets for the tour will be available starting on Wednesday, January 29 at 12 pm at nin.com.
