Hudson Valley Music Summit Unveils Agenda, Live Showcase

On Saturday, November 21, the Hudson Valley Music Summit takes over the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center for its first edition in seven years, and the lineup keeps growing.

The Summit has now unveiled its complete agenda, with moderators and panelists set for all 10 panels, a closing showcase featuring Alex Cano, Dan Zlotnick and newly announced Hunter Road, and a roster of 40+ speakers from labels, distribution, venues, management, media, legal, licensing and technology.

Hudson Valley Music Summit

The Hudson Valley Music Summit brings together artists and music-industry professionals for a full day of conversations, networking and live music focused on navigating an evolving business. Founded and produced by Hudson Valley entrepreneur David Hoffman, a veteran conference producer whose work spans the music and investment-management industries, the Summit debuted in 2019, drawing approximately 200 attendees from across the Hudson Valley and beyond.

Taking place Saturday, November 21 from 8 AM to 5 PM, followed by a live showcase at 6 PM, the Summit is built for the people who connect artists with their fans, and for the artists who want to be in the room with them. The day is designed to be practical and conversational, with the questions shaping music right now: how AI is changing metadata and rights, how artists get paid, what it takes to tour in today’s market, and what a record label looks like heading into 2027.

The new label landscape: how the label relationship is being reimagined, from new income models to the economics of launching and running a label.

Rights, royalties and technology: AI-driven metadata auditing, digital fingerprinting and the systems that make sure artists and songwriters are paid.

Touring and artist development: what developing artists need to know before they hit the road.

Sync, licensing and direct-to-fan: how sync works as both revenue and discovery, and how streaming data and fan platforms are changing the artist-audience bond.

Brand and legacy: how visual identity, photography, video and merch build an authentic artist brand, and how teams behind culturally significant artists balance authenticity and reinvention.

Closing Manager’s Roundtable: a candid look at the artist-manager partnership.

Confirmed speakers include Lee Dannay, Recording Academy New York Chapter President and Head of A&R at Thirty Tigers; Alexandra Greenberg, Founder, Falcon Publicity; Rebecca Shapiro, President of Shore Fire Media and Pollstar Touring Publicist of the Year; Anna Canoni of Woody Guthrie Publications; Emily White, Collective Entertainment Partner and bestselling author; New York rock radio personality Jimmy Fink; and Brett Smith, CEO of P-Funk Immersive.

“The Hudson Valley has long been intertwined with the American music industry. It goes back further than you think. Staying power is what this is all about – building an artist/fan relationship that outlasts trends, evolves with the artist, and spans generations. The music that comes out of this region has always been less about reading charts and more about channeling a vibe, and a conference works similarly: it’s the unspoken connections that help us navigate to where we’re going,” says

Summit founder David Hoffman

The Summit is also a showcase for the region’s own sound. The conference opens with a look at the Hudson Valley’s growing appetite for original music, from the venues and media supporting artists to the local scenes developing across the Northeast. Produced by Hudson Valley-based conference producer and musician David Hoffman, the Summit first launched in 2019 with more than 200 attendees and has been waiting for the right moment to come back.

Tickets are on sale now. The Hudson Valley Music Summit takes place Saturday, November 21 at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center, 480 North Bedford Road, Chappaqua, NY 10514. For more info visit here.

ABOUT HUDSON VALLEY MUSIC SUMMIT:

Beyond music, Hoffman has spent nearly two decades producing professional conferences and events across investment management, energy, pharmaceuticals and sustainability. Today, through his Asset Allocator Institute, he produces investment-management conferences around the country and an invite-only Salon Dinner Series, bringing senior investment professionals together in intimate settings for off-the-record conversation and networking. A lifelong musician and songwriter, Hoffman has never kept his two worlds entirely separate: he is known for opening corporate events with a few blues licks from the harmonica he keeps at his hip.

The Hudson Valley Music Summit, returning November 21, 2026 at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center, brings those worlds together in his own backyard.
