Bethpage’s very own Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti is making his solo debut with his new traditional pop single, “Still On My Way.” Although he has been making music for a decade, the single marks his debut of original material.
Valentinetti was never any stranger to music. He had experience working in playing instruments such as the horn, trumpet, tuba, and trombone; during his early musical journey that he originally discovered his singing voice.

However, some people may know about Valentinetti from his appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2016. He was only 20 years old when he received a golden buzzer for his rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” The moment immediately went viral, giving the singer attention from viewers at home and on social media.
Valentinetti’s nickname, “The Voice,” came as a result of his show-stopping appearance on the talent show. His old-school singing voice and a musical band ensemble that resembles the likes of Dean Martin and Jerry Vale.
The love for these old-time classics came as a result of spending time with his grandmother. “That music was connected with the happiest times I had with her,” Valentinetti said. “The sound of a kick followed by a shout – horns – I still get excited when we hit a shout in a chart. The whole time I’m doing that, I’m thinking of my grandmother dancing in her kitchen.”
Although “Still On My Way” is not his first single, it is the first to compose of original material. The title and the song’s lyrics tell the tale of Valentinetti’s ongoing journey in building his singing career. He talks about hard work, performing in empty bars, and continuing to learn things while chasing his dreams.
Sal Valentinetti will be celebrating the single’s release by performing a live show in Florence, Italy. There, he will also preview some songs that will be on his debut album, which is set to release soon.
