Alex Warren Wraps Up 2026 Citi Concert Series

The first week of October brought a cool breeze, autumnal spirit, and the official end of the Citi Concert Series, presented by TODAY. Singer-songwriter Alex Warren rounded out the busy concert season with the perfect shortened set on Friday, October 2.

Performing “Carry You Home” off of his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, the singer demonstrated his love for his wife, Kouvr Annon, on live television. From sleeping in a car together at eighteen years old, to getting married and living a life of fame at twenty-six, the song gave an insightful look into Warren’s growth as an artist and person.

“Eternity” brought even more personal feelings to the Plaza, although this time, it highlighted heavy moments of grief. Exploring his daily life and world without his parents, both of which have passed years ago, Warren used the songwriting process of “Eternity” to understand his loneliness and lifelong pain. As he performed it live, Warren looked up past the crowd to the sky – a subtle nod to those he misses.

Smash hit “Ordinary” and “Emerald Eyes” lifted the Plaza vibes for the final two songs of the morning. The former, known as Alex Warren’s breakout hit, had the singer running down the catwalk to sing with all of his adoring fans that came bright and early. “Emerald Eyes” is a new single off of Warren’s sophomore album, Wildchild. Complete with an addictive funky bassline, the joyful hit served as the perfect ending for the 2026 Citi Concert Season.
