Fencepost Festival will return on August 7 and 8 to bring artists and camping to the Capital Region.
Presented by RDI Productions, the two-day music festival will take place at Lazy Bear Ice Cream in Broadalbin, just 45 miles northwest of Albany. The festival is just one hour southwest of Lake George, 30 minutes west of Saratoga Springs and two hours east of Syracuse, making it accessible to fans all across upstate New York.

Now entering another year, Fencepost Festival has built a reputation as a grassroots music event that combines a laid-back atmosphere with an eclectic lineup of performers. The festival will offer weekend and camping passes, giving attendees the option to stay on-site and enjoy the full festival experience.
The 2026 event will feature performances from a mix of jam, rock, funk, Americana and improvisational artists. Headlining the lineup are nationally touring jam-funk act Dizgo, alongside regional favorites One Time Weekend and Annie in the Water. Additional performers scheduled to appear include Hilltop, What?, PEAK, Creamery Station, Ian Ferrara Music, Uncle Terry’s Pocket, notJupiter, All Our Friends, Dan Webster, Jay and Gray Live! and Campfire Acoustic.
Located in Broadalbin, the venue, Lazy Bear Ice Cream, provides open space for camping and live entertainment. In addition to live music, the festival will promote a festival atmosphere for all ages centered around camping, community and local vendors. Vendors who wish to participate can apply here.
Fencepost Festival joins a growing list of summer music gatherings across upstate New York, attracting visitors from throughout the Capital Region and beyond. Tickets are on sale now. Children under 12 will be admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
