Bedford Music Festival Returns to Caramoor this Fall

The Bedford Music Festival is coming back to Caramoor on Sept. 6 for a day long event featuring live music performances, food, and family fun to Westchester County.

This summer festival takes place on the scenic Caramoor grounds, and encourages attendees to enjoy an outdoor setting with lawn chairs and blankets while watching musicians perform. The organizers of the festival say this event is aimed at the general public, especially music lovers of all ages.

Headlining this year’s festival is The Motet, a funk group that features live music which fuses the styles of funk, soul, jazz, and rock. The band was formed two decades ago.

The Jamie McLean Band, a band which blends New Orleans soul, Americana, Delta blues, and rock will be performing as well at the Bedford Musical Festival. This band is known for their emotional songwriting and high energy performances and is led by Jamie McLean himself.

Also performing at the festival will be New York City based seven-member band, Summer Fling. This group combines funk, soul, pop, and jazz music in a live performance format with a stage performance backed up by a three-horn section.

Additionally, the family attendees can watch a show by The Rock and Roll Playhouse that will play The Music of Taylor Swift & More for Kids. This is a part of the national tour concert series which includes fun activities like games and shows for children.

Apart from the live music performances, visitors get to enjoy the food and beverages served by the local vendors, while the kids take part in activities organized especially for family enjoyment.

Bedford Music Festival is among several musical festivals that form the 2026 summer concert season at Caramoor. Others include American Roots Music Festival scheduled for June 27, Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca on July 9 and Patty Griffin on July 11.
