Acclaimed bassist Oteil Burbridge has announced an expanded run of Oteil & Friends shows for summer 2026, adding six new club dates this August to an already busy touring schedule. Known for his work with Dead & Company and The Allman Brothers Band, Burbridge continues to bring together an all-star rotating lineup for a series of intimate performances across the Northeast.

Following their previously announced appearance at Richmond’s JamPacked Festival on August 1, Oteil & Friends will head south for an outdoor show in Asheville, NC, before making their way north for performances in Nantucket and Deerfield, MA. The run continues with stops in Nashua, NH; Jay Peak, VT; and Canandaigua, NY, offering fans a mix of scenic venues and close-up musical experiences.
Joining Burbridge on this run are longtime collaborators Steve Kimock, Johnny Kimock, Tom Guarna, and Lamar Williams Jr., with special appearances from Melvin Seals and Jason Crosby on select dates.

The August run builds on an already extensive touring year for Oteil & Friends. This spring, the band will travel across the Northeast and Midwest with stops at venues such as Brooklyn Bowl, the Capitol Theatre, and Mohegan Sun, in addition to festival appearances including JamPacked and Gratefulfest later this summer.
The group is riding momentum from a standout 2025 fall tour that stretched down the East Coast, culminating in a performance at Suwannee Roots Revival and a New Year’s Eve celebration in Fort Lauderdale. Several of those shows, including performances in Charleston, Harrisburg, and Port Chester, are now available for streaming via Nugs.
Beyond touring, Burbridge is also preparing to release a new collaborative album with Lamar Williams Jr., titled The Offering, due out May 1, 2026. Recorded at Flóki Studios in Iceland and produced by Alan Evans, the project blends Southern soul, gospel harmonies, and improvisational rock with global rhythmic influences. The first single, “The Way We Rise,” is available now.

In addition to Oteil & Friends, Burbridge has maintained a busy performance schedule, including appearances at Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebrations alongside the Boston Pops and shows with Dead & Company at the Sphere in Las Vegas. He is also set to participate in Jazz Fest events in New Orleans and tribute performances honoring Phil Lesh as part of Unbroken Chain.
With a dynamic lineup, new music on the way, and an ever-expanding tour schedule, Oteil & Friends continue to embody the improvisational spirit and collaborative energy that define Burbridge’s musical journey.
