The Tanglewood Popular Artist Series has expanded its 2026 summer lineup with three newly announced performances featuring Hugh Jackman, Brandi Carlile, and a co-headlining show with John Fogerty and Steve Winwood.
The newly announced shows will take place at the renowned Berkshire venue in Lenox, Massachusetts this August and September, adding more star power to an already packed summer schedule.
Jackman will perform on August 11 alongside conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, marking both his Tanglewood and Boston Pops debut. Known for his work across film, theater, and music, Jackman has brought his stage presence to audiences worldwide, most notably through performances connected to films like The Greatest Showman and Les Misérables.
On August 18, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile returns to Tanglewood after previous successful appearances at the venue. Carlile’s latest album, Returning to Myself, arrived in 2025 and marked another milestone for the acclaimed artist, whose powerful voice and storytelling have made her one of the most respected figures in modern Americana and rock.
Closing out the newly announced additions, John Fogerty and Steve Winwood will share the stage on September 6, bringing together two legendary figures in rock history. Fogerty, the former frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival, helped define the sound of late-1960s American rock with classics like “Proud Mary” and “Fortunate Son.” Winwood, known for his work with Traffic and Blind Faith as well as a successful solo career, brings decades of iconic songs including “Higher Love” and “Valerie.”
The additions join an already diverse Popular Artist Series lineup for summer 2026, which includes performances by Paul Simon, James Taylor, Ziggy Marley with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Weird Al Yankovic, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Carrie Underwood, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Held each summer in the Berkshire Hills, Tanglewood’s Popular Artist Series continues to bring together major voices from across rock, folk, Americana, and pop for one of the Northeast’s most anticipated concert seasons.
