The 2026 Great South Bay Music Festival came to a close Sunday at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, wrapping up four days of music with a lineup that celebrated classic rock, Americana and improvisational music. The festival’s final day featured performances by Taz, a special Bob Weir Celebration, Little Feat and headliners My Morning Jacket on the Main Stage, while Albert Liu & Wild Hearts, The OM-EN and the Kelli Baker Band rounded out the Bandshell-Five Towns College Stage.

Opening the Main Stage was Taz before the festival hosted a special Bob Weir Celebration, bringing together an all-star lineup featuring Andy Falco, Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra), Alwyn Robinson (Leftover Salmon), Eric Finland (Eric Krasno Band), Patrick Falco (The Cosmic Orchestra) and Leslie Mendelson. The collaborative performance paid tribute to the Grateful Dead co-founder and set the tone for a day centered around musicianship, collaboration and improvisation.

Little Feat took the stage next as part of the band’s farewell tour, delivering a set filled with many of the songs that have defined their career. Opening with “Let It Roll,” the legendary group worked through fan favorites including “All That You Dream,” “Oh Atlanta,” “Spanish Moon,” “Too High to Cut My Hair,” “Willin’,” “Dixie Chicken,” and “Fat Man in the Bathtub” before closing with “Feats Don’t Fail Me Now.” Their mix of rock, blues, funk and New Orleans-inspired grooves proved why the band continues to influence generations of musicians.

Closing out both the evening and the festival was My Morning Jacket, who delivered a nearly two-and-a-half-hour performance. The Louisville rock band opened with Jim James’ “State of the Art (A.E.I.O.U.)” before moving through songs including “Half a Lifetime,” “Gideon,” “Least Expected,” “Circuital,” “Phone Went West,” and “Time Waited.”

The connection to the afternoon’s tribute continued when the band performed Bob Weir’s “One More Saturday Night,” providing a fitting nod to the celebration that had taken place earlier in the day. My Morning Jacket continued with favorites including “One Big Holiday,” “Feel You,” “Die for It,” “Off the Record,” “Victory Dance,” “Holdin On to Black Metal,” and “Touch Me I’m Going to Scream Pt. 2,” before bringing the four-day festival to a close with “Wordless Chorus.”

While Sunday’s lineup featured a more laid-back, jam-oriented atmosphere than the previous three days, fans packed the Patchogue waterfront one final time to celebrate live music and close out another successful Great South Bay Music Festival. From rock and reggae to punk, blues, hip-hop and extended improvisation, the festival once again showcased a diverse lineup while bringing thousands of music fans together over four days on Long Island.
