In Greenpoint on July 31, NYC Metalfest will take place at the Polish-Slavic Center, with seven metal bands taking the stage to provide fans with an unforgettable musical spectacle. This unique event will bring metal lovers together for an evening full of energy, powerful riffs, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Metalfier is a heavy metal band from New York City founded in 2007 by guitarist and vocalist Andrew Janda, the band is known for its classic three-piece power trio lineup. Although the band’s lineup changes frequently, current and former members include Andrew Janda (“Metalfier”) – lead vocals, guitars; Christian Cos – gitary; Reda Woodcock – bass guitar; Miguel Rodriguez – bass guitar; Adam Romanowski – drums, and Martin Zietarski – bass guitar.

Formed in New York City, Spread Eagle quickly became one of rock’s most distinctive bands thanks to their raw and energetic sound. Following the success of their debut, Spread Eagle continued their growth with their second album, Open to the Public (MCA), and then their latest release, Subway to the Stars (Frontiers). Warrior Soul is an American hard rock and alternative metal band, formed in New York City in 1987 by charismatic vocalist Kory Clarke. The group is known for its politically charged lyrics, rebellious nature, and original sound that blends hard rock with art rock. Warrior Soul gained recognition for albums such as Last Decade Dead Century and Drugs, God, and the New Republic, which have become permanent fixtures in the band’s canon. Current band members include Kory Clarke – vocals, Adam Arling – guitar, Christian Kimmett – bass guitar and Nate Arling – drums.
KILLCODE is a five-piece American rock band from New York City. Their distinctive sound is described as a fusion of rock and metal with distinct Southern rock influences and melodic, powerful vocals. KILLCODE’s songs are energetic, catchy rock anthems, built on powerful guitar riffs and dynamic rhythms. Their music delivers a solid dose of adrenaline from the very first notes and lingers in listeners’ memories for a long time. KILLCODE consists of five members: Tom Morrissey – vocals, Chas – guitar and vocals, DC Gonzalez – guitar, Bobby Flores – bass guitar and Rob Noxious – drums.
Brand of Julez is a hard rock band that originated on the streets of New York City. It was formed in 2011 by brothers Brandon Zamora (vocals, bass) and Julian Zamora (vocals, guitar). The band’s music is characterized by a raw, aggressive sound, combining powerful guitar riffs, a dynamic rhythm section, and energetic vocals. The lineup is currently completed by James “Jimmy” Wisher (drums) and Adhnan Sulaiman (lead guitar), creating a complete BOJ family poised for national recognition.
Brand of Julez has crisscrossed the United States numerous times on tour alongside bands such as Tesla, Puddle of Mudd, Bobaflex, Orgy, Last in Line, and Texas Hippie Coalition. Armed with their instruments and inspirations drawn from various musical genres, Brand of Julez deliver a powerful dose of rock energy that will have you nodding your heads rhythmically, raising your hands in a “metal horns” gesture, and humming their songs long after the concert ends.
Local Brooklyn heavy metal band Piwnica consists of five main members: Maciej (macius_pl_2006) – vocals and guitar, Kuba (kujebek) – guitar, Szymon (szenuuu) – bass guitar, and Mati (mati.kempka.drum) – drums.
The band regularly performs on the local scene around Greenpoint, presenting high-energy shows, including upcoming shows alongside bands like Warrior Soul.
