The spirit of New York City’s most legendary rock club returns this fall as CBGB Festival has announced the full lineups for its two main stages at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn on September 26.

Headlining the CBGB Stage are punk and alternative icons including Morrissey, Patti Smith, Interpol, and the Sex Pistols. They will be joined by Bikini Kill and a diverse collection of artists spanning multiple generations of punk and alternative music.
The festival’s second stage, Marshall Presents Hilly’s Stage, pays tribute to CBGB founder Hilly Kristal and features performances by Mannequin Pussy, Circle Jerks, Sleater-Kinney, and Fred Armisen’s Ramones tribute act The Return of Jackie & Judy. Rising artists including Violet Grohl, daughter of Dave Grohl, will also take part.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural festival and continuing the celebration of punk’s 50th anniversary, the event will also feature classic CBGB-associated acts such as Agnostic Front alongside contemporary artists including Militarie Gun, High Vis, Bad Nerves, and Panic Shack.

Festival weekend begins a day early when pioneering electronic group The Prodigy makes its first New York City appearance in 17 years on September 25, supported by Brutalismus 3000, Sextile, and Lip Critic.
Organizers have also announced a special promotion for fans who purchase festival tickets before July 8. Ticket buyers will receive an exclusive CBGB Archive merchandise item, with options including limited-edition apparel, vinyl releases, and collectible memorabilia. Ticket prices are scheduled to increase after July 8.

Beyond the music, attendees can expect immersive recreations of CBGB history, including Hilly Kristal’s office, the club’s iconic bar, and the original stage, along with expanded food, drink, and merchandise offerings.
Founded in 1973 on the Bowery, CBGB launched the careers of legendary artists including Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, and Patti Smith, becoming the epicenter of New York’s punk and new wave movements. The festival continues that legacy by bringing together the pioneers who defined the scene with a new generation of artists carrying the torch forward.

CBGB Festival takes place September 26 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn. Tickets and additional festival information are available at CBGBFest.com.
