Who To See at Primavera Sound Barcelona

Primavera Sound Barcelona is here! Starting June 3 and running through Sunday the 7, the festival will bring together more than 244 performances at Parc del Fòrum and 91 performances in venues around Barcelona for Primavera a La Ciutat. There’s too much for one person to see, so here are just a few of our must-see artists across the five days of music.

Amaarae – Friday @ 23:20 at the Cupra Stage

One of our top artists to watch at Osheaga last year Amaarae has only gotten better over the last year. The Ghanaian-American artist combines R&B, pop, and Afrobeats to create a unique sound that is eminently danceable. For anyone who wants to get down and boogie, this Bronx-born artist offers a distinct sound that will get you moving.

Fcukers – Thursday @ 2:40 AM at the Schwarzkopf Stage

Over the last two years, NYC-based electro duo Fcukers has been on a run up the charts. Last year, they opened for Tame Impala on his Deadbeat Tour, earlier this year, they dropped their first album, “Ö” in March, and they’ve already played festivals around the world. Combining bouncy pop and indie sleaze over electro beats, the duo’s house music would be welcome at peak warehouse parties around the world.

Blood Orange – Thursday @ 18:20 at the Revolut Stage

Blood Orange is Dev Hynes’s avant-garde musical alter ego. Combining moody singer-songwriter themes, electronic musical production (built through his production work for FKA twigs, Solange and many more), and rock beats, Blood Orange can’t cleanly be put into any one musical boundary. The artist combines instruments that aren’t often heard in the same genre (i.e. classical violin and electro production) to bring something new to the stage.

Geese – Thursday @ 19:45 at the Occident Stage

Indie Rock Band Geese’s 2025 album Getting Killed was The New Yorker’s Album of the year. With impassioned lyrics and solid guitar riffs, the NY band brings heartfelt emotion to the stage. For those who love Indie Rock, they are a must-see!

Water From Your Eyes – Friday @ 21:00 at the Port Stage

Like Geese, Water from your Eyes is an Indie band, but that’s about where the similarities end. The Brooklyn-based band takes musical experimentation seriously, bringing together electro, shoegaze, indie, and sleeze throughout their songs. Their lyrics often poke fun at modern life. Listening to their set you’ll be laughing while deeply introspective about your own life.
