Princess Superstar’s Major Comeback

The comeback you didn’t see coming is New York’s own Concetta Kirschner AKA Princess Superstar. Who has made a major resurgence into the mainstream media due to a feature on a movie soundtrack. Proving that women over the age of fifty are still relatable, valuable, and vibrant as ever. It has been twenty years since her hits Bad Babysitter which was released in 2002 and Perfect in 2007.

Concetta commemorated this major milestone with a national tour as a supporting act for the Lords of Acid. Which made its way to Racket New York City on May 12. The set was reminiscent of a fabulous Y2K dance party. Featuring a clothing rack on stage for quick outfit changes, and a rain maker money machine. Concetta, herself, looked and sounded amazing. Dancing all over the stage, jumping, doing high kicks, and squats in high heels.

Ultimately, Princess’s career was resuscitated in 2023 when her song Perfect (Exceeder) was featured on the Saltburn soundtrack. This small event snowballed into a series of events that would change her career forever. Her song went viral, earned her a Gold Record, and consequently inspired her to make a Tick Tock reel which also went viral.

Nonetheless, Concetta makes fifty-five look absolutely amazing and proves that women are still relevant in their later years. By demonstrating that age is only man made constraint constructed to limit and control. All by following her dreams, living authentically, being rebellious and not giving up on herself.
