Chance The Rapper Comes To New York For 10th Anniversary Tour

GRAMMY Award Winner Chance The Rapper has announced that he will be going back on tour this upcoming summer to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his mixtape, The Coloring Book. The tour has 37 dates across the country, including Central Park, Huntington, and Waterloo in New York.

This summer will act as the rapper’s second tour this year, coming off his current “Summer Sessions” tour. There will be no breaks, as it then continues into the 10th Anniversary tour of The Coloring Book, starting in August.

Chance The Rapper initially gained recognition for his second mixtape, Acid Rap, but the success of The Coloring Book earned him a GRAMMY for Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. He was the first independent artist to win, and the mixtape was the first streaming-exclusive album to win the award.

The mixtape has been called a “gospel-rap masterpiece,” bringing recognition to independent artists who are not signed to a major label. The mixtape also features collaborations with notable artists such as Justin Bieber, Future, T-Pain, Anderson .Paak, and Lil Wayne.

More information about the tour and dates can be found on Chance The Rapper’s website here.
