This summer, Schenectady’s Historic Stockade District comes alive with the debut of Stockade-Apalooza-Stock, a brand-new music festival lighting up Thursday nights at the iconic Van Dyck Music Club.
Held across four Thursdays—July 10 and 24, and August 14 and 28—this free series celebrates Capital Region talent with 12 live acts, each bringing a unique flavor of the local music scene.
Each night features a distinct lineup, giving audiences a reason to return week after week.
The series kicks off with performances by Canella, the Peter Annello Band, and Bad Monk, promising an eclectic mix to launch the festival with energy and style.
Night two showcases singer-songwriter Angelina Valente alongside JP Hubbs, the genre-blending grooves of Grape Juice!, and the dynamic Rodeo Barons.
The third installment features the melodic stylings of Rhoseway, the high-octane ska and soul fusion of The Sugarhold, and electrifying E-Block.
Closing out the series are Char, The Alec Lewis Group, and Oobleck, ensuring the festival ends on a high note with a mix of experimental and genre-bending sets.
Each night of the festival will be followed by a Bootleg Karaoke Afterparty starting around 9:30 p.m., giving guests a chance to become the star of the show. Hosted upstairs at the Van Dyck Music Club, the afterparty lets anyone step up to the mic and perform any song available on YouTube. The event is free and open to all, with Seven Points Brewery drink specials flowing all night long.

The festival takes place on the outdoor back patio at Stella Pasta Bar & Seven Points Brewery, home of the Van Dyck Music Club, nestled in Schenectady’s Stockade District. In case of rain, the event will be held indoors and upstairs. Throughout each event day, Stella’s will offer special ‘festival’ food and drink menus, available all day long.
