The rich history of punk music and contemporary culture will be brought to Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn at the CBGB Festival on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The one-day festival, in partnership with The Bowery Presents, features a curated lineup including 21 bands to span across three stages.
Iggy Pop and Jack White are set to headline the event– it being Pop’s first NYC show in over a decade.
CBGB was founded by Hilly Kristal in 1973 on the Bowery and became a space filled with American punk energy. The club fostered the growth of the genre and musicians who would define the scene of the ’70s and launched careers such as the Ramones, Blondie, Patti Smith, Talking Heads and Television.

The festival itself intertwines both infamous legends and future musicians while paying tribute to New York City punk history, celebrating both its past and fiercely alive present.
In the heart of Brooklyn, the festival at Under the K Bridge Park will be filled with music, vintage and new merch, local food and drink, and CBGB immersive experiences, such as the famous bar and stage from the original club.
Presale tickets go live Thursday, May 15 at 10 a.m. ET with public on-sale beginning Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can register now for presale access at CBGBFEST.COM.

New York residents under 25 will have exclusive access to a discounted “Young Punk” general admission ticket priced at $73 to honor the club’s founding year: 1973. Only 350 of these in-person only tickets will be available at a box office pop-up at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday, May 17 at 12 p.m. ET.
