Animal Protective Foundation to Hold 4th Annual Woofstock in Scotia on June 1

The Animal Protective Foundation will hold the 4th Annual WOOFSTOCK Music Festival on Sunday, June 1. Included in the day are a 5K Run/Walk-A-Thon, live music from Grand Central Station, and over 40 vendors at Lions Pavilion, near Collins Park, in Scotia – just outside Schenectady.

The Animal Protective Foundation is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) full-service humane society providing services to Schenectady County and the greater Capital Region. The Animal Protective Foundation promotes and protects the human-animal bond by providing resources to our community and humane care to companion animals. Their vision is a community where all companion animals are loved, respected and receive exceptional care.

The day kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with an optional 5K run/Walk-a-thon (includes FREE admission to Woofstock), followed by entertainment with DJ Scott Pallone and live music from Grand Central Station starting at noon. Among the 40 vendors that will be on-site will have pet-friendly and focused shopping, fantastic food and drink, including Paradox Brewery and Nine Pin Cider, and much more.

All proceeds from the all-day pet-friendly music festival will go towards the APF’s ongoing mission to provide medical care, housing, food, and lifesaving support for companion animals in need.
