ProgStock 2025 Brings Progressive Rock Legends This October

ProgStock 2025 returns October 10–12 at the Williams Center in Rutherford, NJ, just outside NYC, with a pre-festival night on October 9.

With its close proximity to New York City and a lineup that spans classic and modern progressive rock, ProgStock has become a destination event for fans throughout the Tri-State area and beyond.

Headlining this year’s festival is Steve Hogarth of the legendary British band Marillion, performing for the first time in the United States with his acclaimed solo project, h Natural. This intimate and emotionally driven performance promises a rare opportunity for American audiences to experience Hogarth’s storytelling and musicality in a stripped-down setting. The weekend also features performances from Pattern-Seeking Animals, a cinematic and melodic prog group featuring members of Spock’s Beard; IO Earth and the Orchestra of Sound & Emotion, a UK-based ensemble known for blending rock, classical, and electronic influences; and Mike Keneally & Beer for Dolphins, the bold and genre-defying project from the former Frank Zappa collaborator.

Fans can also look forward to sets from Dave Bainbridge & Sally Minnear, Discipline, The Cyberiam, Orpheus Nine, Peter Jones, Funhouse Mirrors, Points North, and German acoustic prog duo Melanie Mau & Martin Schella.

Followed by Fred Barchetta, a powerful Rush tribute act, before the night closes with Last Call Live curated performance featuring amateur musicians from around the world who have been vetted and matched to perform complex progressive rock songs on a professional stage.

Fans and performers connect and coordinate through the Last Call Live Facebook group, continuing a tradition that’s become one of the most unique offerings in the prog festival scene.

The festival kicks off with a pre-festival night on Thursday, October 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a live performance from keyboardist Robeone, an acclaimed solo artist and patron of the Moog Museum.

In addition to the music, ProgStock offers a vibrant community atmosphere, with artist meet-and-greets, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and a merch marketplace featuring exclusive releases. Special guest hosts for the weekend include Michael Sadler of Saga, Seren Sadler, Pattern-Seeking Animals’ Jimmy Keegan, and Matt Dorsey of Sound of Contact, lending further credibility and energy to the weekend’s events.

Tickets are now available through the ProgStock website, with single-day options ranging from $70 to $90, a pre-festival pass available for $30, full weekend Prog-Ducer passes at $295, and a very limited number of 5-Year Patron Passes for dedicated festival supporters.

For New York-based fans looking to escape the city for a weekend of complex rhythms, soaring melodies, and community connection, ProgStock 2025 promises to deliver an unforgettable experience just across the Hudson River.
