On Saturday, May 31, the heart of Woodstock will beat for Asheville, NC, as Woodstock Home Aid presents Mountain Music Rescue—an evening of music, community, and healing—at The Station Bar and Curio from 4PM to 10PM.

This isn’t just another concert—it’s a lifeline.
I know the pain because I lived it.

When Hurricane Helene tore through Asheville, it didn’t just take homes or businesses, roads or trees. It took people’s lives as they knew them. I was there. I saw it all. And I lost everything.
My home. My history. My sense of safety.

I came here to the Capital Region to try and rebuild, one day at a time, with nothing but what I could carry. But many didn’t have that option. They’re still there—displaced, overlooked, forgotten. Waiting. Hurting. Hoping.

That’s why Woodstock Home Aid is coming together with artists, neighbors, friends, and strangers—to help pick up the pieces.
Mountain Music Rescue will feature a stellar lineup of local favorites including Brad Burke, The Macs Band, Jax & Kings, and The Torpedoes—each performing to uplift a cause that matters deeply.

The evening will also highlight the work of local artisans, with handcrafted goods available in support of the mission.
A $40 suggested donation grants access to an unforgettable night of music and solidarity—and more importantly, the chance to directly impact lives still fighting to recover. Every dollar raised will support Woodstock Home Aid’s mission: rebuilding homes, restoring land, planting sustainable gardens, help Asheville continue the clean up and most importantly, to heal.

Woodstock Home Aid, a registered 501(c)(4), is working tirelessly towards raising $100,000—a modest goal compared to the $53 billion in damages North Carolina sustained. But for someone without a roof or clean water, that drop in the bucket can mean everything.

This is more than a benefit—it’s a call to action.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference, if you’ve ever believed in the power of music to bring hope, now is the time. Show up. Bring your heart. Stand with Asheville.
