“The Voice” Season 8 winner and Montgomery, NY native Sawyer Fredericks has released the title track of his upcoming album, No Need To Wonder, now available on all streaming platforms.

Fredericks brings smooth folk rock with “No Need To Wonder,” accompanied by the singer’s soothing tone and acoustic guitar. The album, to be released on Earth Day, will include tracks from his 2023 EP, The Golden Tree EP, which discusses aspects of his home, including his family farm. The new single sets an overall tone of environmental and political issues – a sense into what this new album will unfold to be.
“I was struggling to write this one for a while because the message is so important, it needed to be real, heartfelt, meaningful, and brutally honest,” said Fredericks. “I was so worried about writing something cheesy and not doing the song justice, but I’m very proud of this piece, and I feel I checked all the boxes and that my message is clear.”
The New York native first gained national attention as the season 8 winner of “The Voice” at the age of 16, becoming one of the youngest male winners on the hit show.
Now working independently, the singer has collaborated with upstate New York artist Cassandra Kubinski for their new single, “Burn it Down.” Fredericks will perform at Folk Alliance in Montreal, Canada, in late February.
