Supporting non-profit arts and culture organizations in three key New York State districts, the Upstate Theater Coalition for a Fairgame has launched its fifth annual Fairgame Arts Grants program. Applications for grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 open on February 3.

Since 2019, the organization has distributed over $300,000 through approximately 100 grants to support local arts communities. These grants assist artists, maintain cultural initiatives, and provide public access to the arts. The program’s financial support guarantees that non-profit arts organizations may keep presenting shows, educational programs, and artistic endeavors that enhance their local communities.
John Parkhurst, chief operating officer of the West Herr Auditorium Theatre, expressed enthusiasm: “As President of the Upstate Theatre Coalition for a Fairgame, I’m excited to announce our fifth round of grant funding for cultural organizations in these regions. These organizations serve communities directly and enhance arts engagement across the Empire State.”

Capital Region: Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie and Washington
