Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) has announced their season with the NYC Ballet from July 9-12.
SPAC, celebrating their 60th anniversary next year, also introduced new accessible ticket promotions exclusive to SPAC and NYCB.

The SPAC and NYCB residency will feature performances of Coppélia by Léo Delibes, Jerome Robbins’ The Four Seasons by Verdi, George Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto and the world premier of Justin Peck’s newest work, Mystic Familiar. The performances will be shown under the direction of Artistic Director Jonathan Stafford and Associate Artistic Director Wendy Whelan, accompanied by the New York City Ballet Orchestra and led by Music Director Andrew Litton.
In an effort to increase accessibility to the performing arts, SPAC has announced an exclusive ticket promotion for the NYCB residency, featuring lower prices for families and the youth.
The “$40 under 40” promotion will allow anyone 40 years old and under to purchase a ticket for $40, the “Family Four Pack” promotion offers four seats for $99 and the “Kids in Free” promotion will extend its age limit to 16 years and under, along with a 50% discount for an accompanying adult.

In a statement released to the public, president and CEO of Saratoga Performing Arts Center Elizabeth Sobol reflects on the center’s remarkable anniversary and collaboration with NYCB.
“As we approach our 60th anniversary, our historic partnership with New York City Ballet continues to be a remarkable source of pride and inspiration. Nowhere else in the world outside of New York City does the full company of dancers and musicians present a robust week of repertoire, every single year. SPAC is unique and incredibly fortunate to be able to bring these world-class artists to our community,” said Sobol. “From the accessible and beloved story ballet Coppélia… to masterworks by Balanchine and Robbins… to the fresh and exciting premiere by Justin Peck, there is something for everyone.”
The New York City Ballet is considered one of the world’s foremost ballet companies for its athletic and contemporary dance styles. Founded in 1948 and now celebrating its 75th anniversary year, the company continues to be inspired by founders George Balanchine (choreography) and Lincoln Kirstein’s (patron) envisions of authentically American expression of ballet whilst reflecting the rich diversity and culture of the dance medium.
Saratoga Performing Arts Center holds its title as one of America’s most prestigious outdoor amphitheaters, hosting 2,400 acres of land, surrounded by hiking trails, geysers and natural mineral springs. SPAC is a 502c3 charitable organization, and all donations and proceeds benefit the Center’s education programs, community outreach efforts and more.
Tickets to the NYC Ballet residency performances at SPAC will be available to the general public on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. For more information, visit spac.org.
