After recording the album in New York City, Voltarelli will showcase his latest work, which has already captivated audiences with 130 concerts across Italy and Europe, including performances in Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. This tour promises to be an exciting opportunity for fans to experience his unique sound and storytelling.

The tour kicks off on January 21, at Club Passim in Cambridge, Massachusetts, followed by a notable performance on January 23, at Drom in New York City. The producer Simone Giuliani, and musicians Jake Owen, Mauro Refosco, and Stéphane San Juan will join him on stage. Giuliani, renowned for his collaborations with Andrea Bocelli and the London Symphony Orchestra, produced the album and chose Manhattan’s historic East Side Sound for the recording.
Other concert dates include January 24, at Latchis Theater in Brattleboro, Vermont, and January 25, at Studio 9 in North Adams, Massachusetts.
Published by Visage Music, La grande corsa verso Lupionòpolis marks Voltarelli’s first album of unreleased material in eight years, following his acclaimed works Voltarelli canta Profazio and Planetario, both of which won the prestigious Tenco Prize. This new collection features ten tracks, including eight songs in Calabrian dialect, one in Italian, and an instrumental waltz, showcasing the rich tapestry of his musical heritage.
Voltarelli’s connection to America runs deep, having performed in cities such as Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles for over two decades. His artistic journey includes co-writing and starring in the film “The True Legend of Tony Vilar,” which participated in the Tribeca Film Festival, and releasing a music video shot across major American cities.
Joining Voltarelli on this tour is acclaimed violinist and composer Luca Ciarla, whose versatile style has earned him recognition in jazz, classical, and world music across 70 countries.
The Italian Cultural Institute of New York, Violipiano, Visage Music, and CortoCorto organized this tour in cooperation. Don’t miss this chance to experience Peppe Voltarelli live as he brings his new album to life on stage!
