The Park Theater Foundation Shares January Events

The Park Theater Foundation in Glens Falls unveiled its lineup of events for January 2024 season which includes genre-bending Americana band Cold Chocolate, Rhoseway, a comedy night, and more.

The Park Theater is set to present a wide variety of shows throughout January as part of their highly anticipated 2023/24 season. The series of events which will run from Jan. 19 to Jan. 31 will include local and regional musicians, writers, comedians, and other artists who always serve to enhance the accessibility of the arts within the local community.

01/11/24:- “Live & Local”
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘Live & Local’ featuring alternative rock group, Rhoseway. Led by Upstate NY-based singer-songwriter, Rob Fleming, Rhoseway will be performing as a 3-piece. Tickets: $10.00. Doors: 7:30pm | Showtime: 8:00pm.

01/18/24:- “Third Thursday Jazz”
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘Third Thursday Jazz’ with The Matt Niedbalski Trio featuring Rob Lindquist (piano) and Jason Emmond (bass). Experience some of the best jazz music in the Capital Region! Tickets: $10.00. Doors: 7:00pm | Showtime: 7:30pm.

‘The Park Presents:’ Cold Chocolate (01/19/24):
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘The Park Presents’ featuring genre-bending americana band, Cold Chocolate, live on January 19th, 2024! Cold Chocolate fuses folk, funk, and bluegrass to create a unique sound all their own – a show not to be missed! Tickets: Early Bird – $15.00 | Day Of Show – $20.00. 01/25/24:- “Live & Local: Songwriters’ Showcase”
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘Live & Local: Songwriters’ Showcase’ – an intimate evening featuring some of the Capital Region’s favorite songwriters. Hosted by performer, producer and engineer, Josh Morris, these ‘artist-in-the-round’ performances give audiences the opportunity to hear local musicians’ songs and the stories behind them. This month’s artists include Josh Morris, Erin Harkes, Natalie Santini & Andy Arnold (Little Saints), and Matt Plummer (Bendt). Tickets: Early Bird – $10.00 | Day Of Show – $15.00. 01/26/24:- “Comedy After Dark”
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘Comedy After Dark’ featuring highly-acclaimed New York comedian, Doug Smith. He has appeared on CONAN, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, and most notably “This Is Not Happening” on Comedy Central. 01/27/24:- “Live & Local”
The Park Theater Foundation presents ‘Live & Local’ featuring americana band, Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band. Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band challenge the traditional relationship of a songwriter and his band, with a fluidly rotating cast of top-notch players and a flair for experimentation that combine for a unique and mesmerizing live performance. Suggested Donation: $15.00. Doors: 7:30pm | Showtime: 8:00pm.

01/31/24:- “Running On Empty”
The Park Theater Foundation hosts Rochmon Record Club for a series of listening parties. Hosted by Chuck Vosganian, this listening party will focus on Jackson Browne’s “Running On Empty” (1977). Tickets: $12.00. Doors: 6:30pm | Showtime: 7:00pm.
