Kate McDonnell to host March for Our Lives Benefit Concert At Caffe Lena

Kate McDonnell and Canella will be making a stop at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs on Jan.28 to host March for Our Lives benefit concert to end gun violence.

McDonnell, an award-winning songwriter, will host the event which will include other regional performers who are also dedicated to the cause of ending gun violence in the country.

The concert will include acts from prolific singer-songwriter Jimi W, Albany-based singer Doc Horton, 11-year-old powerhouse Iveilah, Indie-rock band Canella, and a special performance from Kate herself.

Kate, the “Ballad Of A Bad Girl” singer has co-produced and will host a night of music at the Caffè Lena, a place that is widely recognized as the longest continuously operating folk music venue in the United States. She will be joined by other regional performers who are also dedicated to the cause of ending the culture of gun violence in the country.

The event will also be a fundraiser for the vibrant organization March for Our Lives, an organization that since founded in 2018, has helped pass over 300 gun safety laws across the country.
