Town Ballroom

Stationed in the heart of Buffalo lies the Town Ballroom, a storied concert venue with an iconic and dynamic legacy. From being the finest and most elite nightclub and restaurant in Buffalo in the 1940s to now hosting performances by some of the world’s biggest artists, the Town Ballroom boasts a rich and star-studded history.

Originally opening during the latter years of Buffalo’s economic peak, the Town Ballroom, initially named The Town Casino, quickly became the city’s premier nightlife destination. Guests would wear tuxedos and dresses and come to The Town Casino for some food and a late-night show from some of the world’s most iconic 20th-century artists, like Nat King Cole, Miles Davis and Frank Sinatra.

After a slow but steady decline in the latter half of the 20th century, the business changed ownership, and a short-lived nightclub called The Sphere came and went in the early 2000s. Ownership changed once again in 2005, and the current renaissance of the Town Ballroom began.

Now, thriving once again, the Town Ballroom has fully succeeded in bringing back the classic atmosphere and big names that defined the venue in its early years. Take a day to come up to the Town Ballroom in Buffalo and catch a show in one of the most seminal and celebrated venues in all of New York State.
