Michael lives in Tappan, New York with his wife and two daughters. His first photo assignment involved shooting the Clearwater Festival in 2002 where he photographed the legendary Richie Havens, and his passion for live concert photography was born. For nearly the past two decades, Michael has photographed artists the likes of U2, Bruce Springsteen, Mumford & Sons, Weezer, Pixies, Muse and many others. When he is not shooting rockstars, Michael can usually be found running or mountain biking on the trails of the Hudson River Valley.
