Lori was born October 1960 in the Bronx and is a true 60's baby. Her dad and mom were not hippies and were not at Woodstock. Her earliest musical influences were Louis Prima and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. As a tween she listened to Elton John and Jim Croce which in turn led her to other folkies. Then it was on to Janis & Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane/Starship, and when she purchased her first Grateful Dead Album, Blues for Allah she was hooked on the Grateful Dead and a long strange, incredible trip began which continues to this day.
When not attending concerts, Lori can just as easily be found digging in the dirt working in her community garden plot, frequenting underground card rooms or kicking back watching football or college hoops. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder with two degrees neither of which she uses today. A tireless advocate for homeless cats and dogs, and a fondness for pitbulls she plans to return to school to become a veterinarian technician.
Lori currently lives just outside of Saratoga, NY.
