The Great New York State Fair 2026 Concert Lineup

The Great New York State Fair is gearing up for the summer. Along with the usual festivities, the Fairgrounds will feature concerts. The lineup consists of mini music festivals, as well as some of music’s biggest names.

The fair will start from August 27 and run through Labor Day, September 7. There’s something for everyone at the Fairgrounds, with thrilling rides, attractions, food, and live entertainment. Two concert stages will be set up, with Chevy Court and Suburban Park.

The Chevy Court concerts will be free to all attendees who have a valid Fair ticket. Two concerts will take place per day with a different artist, one at 1pm and one at 8pm. The full list of shows are below.

Chevy Court Performances

Wed, Aug 26 – The Commodores

Soul and funk Motown legends The Commodores will kick off the State Fair performances at 1pm. The group’s career spans over five decades, with hits such as “Easy,” “Three Times a Lady,” and “Nightshift.” They have been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Wed, Aug 26 – Quiet Riot

Heavy metal band Quiet Riot will be taking the stage at 8pm, performing their classic rock hits. They are best known for their songs “Cum on Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head).” This is their second time appearing at the fair, recently performing in 2023.

Thurs, Aug 27 – The Calling

The Calling will bring their melodic sounds and lyrics to the fairgrounds. They are known for their 2000s rock hit, “Wherever You Will Go.” The band also released their newest single, “DUST” in May.

Thurs, Aug 27 – Cooper Alan

Up and coming country singer Cooper Alan will bring good vibes and an intimate performance to the Fair. He first gained recognition on TikTok for his music. His most popular songs include “To the Bar,” “Can’t Dance,” and “First Rodeo.”

Fri, Aug 28 – Kenny Metcalf as Elton

Kenny Metcalf will honor Elton John’s greatest hits, complete with the big glasses and unique outfits. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Rocket Man” live. He will be a part of the Fair’s Pride Day lineup.

Fri, Aug 28 – Brandy Clark

Brandy Clark joins the Fair’s Pride Day lineup, bringing country and blues to the stage. Clark won Best Americana Performance at the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Additionally, she has collaborated with artists such as Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlile.

Fri, Aug 28 – DJ Pretty Mess

Erika Jayne, who goes by DJ Pretty Mess, is bringing a unique and campy vibe to the Fair. Since starting her career in 2007, she has made eight #1 dance hits, including “Give You Everything” and her debut single, “Roller Coaster.” She recently finished a Las Vegas residency in 2023.

Sat, Aug 29 – Moonlight Princesses

If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, Moonlight Princesses are bringing KPop Demon Hunters to life. The trio will perform the hits from the film’s soundtrack, including “Golden,” which saw great success during the awards season.

Sat, Aug 29 – Maddox Batson

At only 16 years old, Maddox Batson is one of the youngest performers this summer. Since going viral on social media for his mix of country and pop, he has gone on an international tour and has several notable tracks under his name.

Sun, Aug 30 – Gym Class Heroes

Alternative hip-hop group Gym Class Heroes are back in a new era, led by Travie McCoy. The group gained popularity in the 2000s with hits such as “Stereo Hearts” and “Cupid’s Chokehold.”

Sun, Aug 30 – Air Supply

Soft rock duo Air Supply are coming to the Fair to deliver emotional lyrics and romantic melodies. The duo is celebrating their 50th anniversary with a global tour and a new studio album titled A Matter of Time.

Mon, Aug 31 – Aly & AJ

2000s sister duo Aly & AJ are returning to the Fair for the first time in 20 years. The duo is best known for their 2007 single, “Potential Breakup Song.” Following the song’s resurgence in 2020, a re-recorded version was released to critical acclaim.

Tues, Sept 1 – Pop 2000 Tour

The Pop 2000 Tour is making a stop in the Fair, bringing along iconic artists that defined the 2000s. Boy bands O-Town and LFO will perform some of their hits. Alongside them, *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick and Ryan Cabrera will also perform.

Weds, Sept 2 – Wilson Phillips

Lifelong friends Wilson Phillips will kick off Women’s Day at the Fair. The female trio are considered music royalty, with the members being the daughter of Brian Wilson, as well as Michelle and John Phillips. The trio has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.

Weds, Sept 2 – Priscilla Block

Country singer Priscilla Block continues Women’s Day with her bold vocals and lyrics. Her single, “Just About Over You,” went viral on TikTok, bringing her over 700 million streams. She released her debut album, Welcome to the Block Party, in 2022.

Thurs, Sept 3 – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone

Making their return to the Fair, Peter Noone will bring the 1960s back to the Fair. The group will perform their hits, such as “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat” and “I’m Into Something Good.” Over the last few decades, the band has seven gold records.

Thurs, Sept 3 – Jesse McCartney

2000s pop sensation Jesse McCartney is bringing his classic hits. He is best known for his single, “Leavin’,” which came from his debut album, Beautiful Soul in 2004. Recently, he finished a national tour that completely sold out and joined the Jonas Brothers on tour.

Fri, Sept 4 – Better Than Ezra

90s rock band Better Than Ezra are going alternative. Best known for their hit, “Good,” continue to stick with listeners young and old. The band released their latest album, Super Magick, in 2024.

Fri, Sept 4 – Braxton Keith

Rising country star Braxton Keith is a performance you’ll never forget. With a unique voice and storytelling in his lyrics, his songs sticks with audiences. Some of his hits include “I Own This Bar” and “Cozy.”

Fri, Sept 4 – Shrek Rave

It sounds exactly like what you think it is. “Shrekno” is a unique 360-degree performance with the characters from the movie, Shrek. Hit songs from the movies such as “I’m A Believer” and “All Star” are played with a light show.

Sat, Sept 5 – JAMS Funk Fest 2026

JAMS is a collaborative effort between artists, musicians, and singers. The lineup will feature multiple artists, including CJack Run, Kevin Stephens & Free Spirit, Magnetic Flow, and much more.

Sun, Sept 6 – The Magic School Bus

Another delight for families comes The Magic School Bus. Not your typical concert, the theatre group will put on a musical based on the book series. This will feature the beloved wacky teacher, Ms. Frizzle, and her students.

The Suburban Park concerts will also be free to all attendees who have a valid Fair ticket. One concert will take place per day at 8pm. The full list of shows are below.

Weds, Aug 26 – The All-American Rejects

The All-American Rejects have been on a comeback as of late, going on tour across the country and inside people’s homes. Now, they’re stopping at the fair to deliver their 2000s rock hits “Dirty Little Secret,” “Gives You Hell,” and “Move Along.” Their latest album, Sandbox, was released in May.

Thurs, Aug 27 – Sean Paul

Reggae and dancehall icon Sean Paul is going to make waves at the Fair. He will perform his club hits like “Temperature” and “Get Busy.” He recently announced a tour across Europe for this summer.

Fri, Aug 28 – Melissa Etheridge

Singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge won’t come to our window, but she’ll come to the Fair. This day will mark her return to the fair after 11 years with her enormous stage presence. Etheridge released her latest album, RISE, in March.

Sun, Aug 30 – Flo Rida

Rapper Flo Rida is bringing good vibes and energy to the Fair. He holds multiple platinum-certified singles that everyone has heard at least once. He will be performing some of these hits, including “Low,” “Good Feeling,” and “My House.”

Mon, Aug 31 – Ashanti

R&B singer Ashanti will make a stop at the Fair with her serenading vocals. Ashanti is best known for her hits “Foolish” and “What’s Luv?” with Fat Joe. Ashanti is currently on tour with Trey Songz for the summer.

Tues, Sept 1 – Scotty McCreery

Scotty McCreery

Country star Scotty McCreery will perform his smash hits “Five More Minutes” and “Bottle Rocket” at the Fairgrounds. McCreery is the first country artist to have their first album debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. His newest album, 15, will come out on July 17, representing 15 years of his music career.

Weds, Sept 2 – Tori Kelly

This will be Tori Kelly’s first time visiting and performing at the Fair. The gospel artist released her recent album, God Must Really Love Me, on June 12. This summer, she will be on tour across the country with Forrest Frank.

Thurs, Sept 3 – ZZ Top

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top will take the stage with their classic rock hits. Donning their long bears, top hats, and sunglasses, the band will perform hits such as “Legs” and “Gimme All Your Lovin’.”

Fri, Sept 4 – The Violent Femmes

The folk punk band Violent Femmes are going the alternative route at the Fair. The band will perform hits such as “Kiss Off” and “Blister in the Sun.” Perhaps it’s a fitting song to act as a reminder to wear your sunscreen!

Sat, Sept 5 – Trace Adkins

Country legend Trace Adkins is coming to hit us all in the feels with his lyrics. He is best known for his hits such as “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.” As of late, he has been touring across the country.

Mon, Sept 7 – Wyclef Jean

Rapper Wyclef Jean will end the Fair and Labor Day festivities with a dance party. He is best known for his work in The Fugees, creating hits such as “Killing Me Softly” and “Fu-Gee-La.” He has also produced for artists such as Shakira, Destiny’s Child, and Sinéad O’Connor.

Whether you come for the food, the rides, the animals, or the attractions, it’s always nice to stop and listen to some live music for a bit.
