Forest Hills Stadium Launches ‘Making Cents for Queens’

Forest Hills Stadium has linked its concert season in 2026 to a community program aimed at giving something back to the borough that has played host to the stadium for many years.

The “Making Cents for Queens” project, announced on June 10, will take a percentage of sales from beverages from each concert during the season go towards Queens Community House (QCH), a non profit organization that helps over 30,000 people each year.

Under this program, the Forest Hills Stadium will provide $0.25 on each sale of alcoholic beverages in the year 2026, making a direct link between music concerts and the local community support.

“Forest Hills Stadium has always been more than just a stage; we are deeply woven into the fabric of this community,” says Jason Brandt, General Manager at the Forest Hills Stadium. With Making Cents for Queens, when someone buys a ticket or drink, the money goes to help local residents.

With concerts happening over the summer months, this program makes sure that there is much more to the concert experience than live music. This announcement comes before yet another successful year at Forest Hills Stadium, which was established back in 1923.

Originally a site where tennis was played, it has since developed into a venue for outdoor concerts in New York City.

The 2026 lineup will include performances from Bright Eyes, Dave Matthews Band, The Black Crowes, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Jon Batiste, Hayley Williams, David Byrne, Erykah Badu, Zac Brown Band, Empire of the Sun, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and the return of All Things Go.

“This partnership shows what’s possible when local institutions invest directly in the communities around them,” said Ben Thomases, CEO of Queens Community House.

Further information on the 2026 season and the “Making Cents for Queens” initiative can be found through Forest Hills Stadium.
