Brooklyn-based alt/indie rock band Glom, led by Sean Dunnevant, leans into the uncertainty of adulthood on “Glass”, a new single from their album Below, available now on Nettwerk Music Group.

Built on ’90s alt-rock, infectious guitar riffs and shoe gaze pop, “Glass” pushes the dreamscape sound built on earlier projects like 2020’s Merit and 2019’s Bond into darker territory.
It makes sense that Below was written around the time Dunnevant turned 30, as it perfectly captures the pressure that often comes when hitting such a milestone.
On “Glass,” Glom explores the distance between the life people imagine for themselves and the reality of trying to sustain it:
“Finally took the trip out west / Actually not yet / I tried hard to make ends meet / It’s harder than it seems / Keep in touch with all my friends / See them on the plane”
The official video for “Glass” -directed by Matt Calabrese- channels the song’s emotionally restless lyrics. Featuring a wild goose chase around New York City, hard-boiled detectives, and near-misses around every corner, the video leaves you on the edge of your seat.
A busy year lies ahead for Glom. This spring, the solo project kicks off the As Above, So Below U.S tour in support of Below, with support from buffchick and snowmen. The tour begins May 13 in Nashville, makes a stop at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on June 4, and wraps June 6 in Washington, D.C.

Later this fall, Glom is also set to appear at the All Things Go festival in Washington, D.C., alongside support dates with Slow Joy.
