British rock icons Def Leppard have announced a 2027 North American tour alongside the Goo Goo Dolls. With a total of 45 shows, the tour will include a stop at Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden. The tour will also feature special guests The Struts supporting the two headlining bands.
The tour will begin on Mar. 2, at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA. Over the following four months, Def Leppard and the Goo Goo Dolls will perform for audiences across North America. In addition to the Madison Square Garden performance on Jun. 23, the bands will play a few New York State-adjacent shows: in Newark, NJ on Mar. 13 and in Uncasville, CT on Jun. 25.
Both Def Leppard and the Goo Goo Dolls have already toured extensively in 2026. Def Leppard have performed sold-out shows throughout North America and Europe this year, while the Goo Goo Dolls’ summer performances included appearances at iHeartRadio Festival and Sea.Hear.Now Festival.
Since Def Leppard’s formation in 1976, their 13 studio albums have reached massive audiences to great critical acclaim. The band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 and awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.
The Goo Goo Dolls were formed in Buffalo in 1986. Best known for their Diamond-certified song “Iris,” the band has amassed a devoted fan base over the past four decades. Like Def Leppard, the Goo Goo Dolls have also released 13 studio albums, most recently 2022’s Chaos In Bloom.
Tickets for the two bands’ tour will go on sale on Oct. 16 at 10 a.m., with $1 of the cost of each ticket being donated to City of Hope, a cancer research and treatment organization. For more information, see the bands’ websites: defleppard.com and googoodolls.com.
