Fast Tony Productions has announced a new annual holiday concert at The Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs. Headlined by Socks in the Frying Pan, Parting Glass Christmas ’26 will take place December 11. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m.
Multi-award-winning Irish traditional trio Socks in the Frying Pan is known for their vocal harmonies and stage banter. The Socks have toured 48 U.S. states and performed at festivals across the globe, including the Walnut Valley Festival, Ireland’s Electric Picnic, Denmark’s Tønder Festival and the New Orleans Jazz Festival.
Capital Region singer-songwriter Caity Gallagher is set to open for the trio with plans to close her set with a family sing-along. The family-friendly holiday concert will be filled with activities like an ugly Christmas sweater contest between sets, a free photo booth open throughout the event and a toy drive.

“Christmas at The Parting Glass has long meant a packed house and a room full of families singing along,” said Anthony Mangano-Delaney, founder of Fast Tony Productions. “We’re starting something new in that spirit, and we’d love for the community to be part of it from the very first night.”
Parting Glass Christmas ‘26 is taking the holiday concert torch from McKrells Christmas, which ended its 25-year run at The Parting Glass in 2025. Fast Tony Productions is a Saratoga Springs concert promotion company founded by Mangano-Delaney in November 2024. It has promoted acts like Grammy winner Mike Farris, Grammy nominated Sugaray Rayford and more.
The Parting Glass was established on St. Patrick’s Day in 1981, named for the Irish folk song “The Parting Glass” sung to close out the night. As Saratoga Spring’s original Irish pub and restaurant and one of the city’s longest continuously operating bars, the pub has hosted performers like Alison Krauss and Béla Fleck.

In August 2026, longtime owner Joan Desadora passed away. Desadora ran the pub since its founding in 1981. The Parting Glass hosted a celebration of life for her on August 27, 2026. The celebration of life included live music, bagpipers and stories about Desadora. Instead of attendees paying for food that night, donations to charities Desadora supported were accepted in her memory.
“Joanie was so much more than the proud owner of The Parting Glass,” read The Parting Glass Facebook post that shared the news of her death. “She was a force of nature—a familiar face, a generous heart, and an unforgettable presence in the Saratoga Springs community. She lived boldly, loved fiercely, laughed loudly, and had a way of making everyone who walked through our doors feel like part of the family.”
“Raise a parting glass to Joanie. May her memory live on in all of us.”
