Tanglewood Welcomes Country Star Carrie Underwood For Sold Out Show

On Saturday August 29, Berkshire County welcomed country star Carrie Underwood at Tanglewood. Fans from all over the Northeast sold out Underwood’s show as families of all ages enjoyed the night full of music, enjoying songs from all stages of Underwood’s music career.

The night started off around 7:15pm with Underwood walking out to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” before she started her set.

During the concert Underwood touched everyone’s hearts with the roller coaster of emotions from each and every song. Fans spent the night showing all emotions while singing along. The order in which all songs were sang was carefully placed based on the emotions of each song. she started the night with happy songs and went to sad heartbroken songs to songs about being hurt and the anger from that hurt.

Right before Underwood Sang See You Again, she made a lovely speech about Dolly Parton and what Parton meant to everyone. Underwood stated in her tribute “she was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met…It was such a shock I feel like to the whole world. You could feel the ripples… like time just stood still…. it was just like what… but she’s just one that transcends all space and all time. and I feel like she is just out there with the brightest smile on her face up until the very last minute. and I feel like that’s something we can all learn from. She is gone but She is not forgotten. I know where she is because I know how much she loved Jesus.”

Underwood’s tribute and choice of song touched all who was there in so many ways. Everyone had their lights in the area singing and crying to “See You Again”. Underwood is truly such an amazing human being and really connects to all her fans through her love of music.

Throughout the night she told many stories on how her songs were made what songs were about and her experiences. She showed fans what she has gone through in life and let them know they are not alone. She never once lost a fans engagement; she had everyone singing dancing jumping up and down and having a blast. Some fans have even stated that this was one of their best experiences going to concerts and that it was truly unimaginable. Many fans said they can’t wait to see her again.

Underwood later in several posts mentioned how amazing the crowd was and how much of a blast she had. She even stated that she is already planning a future visit back to Berkshire County. She also stated in a post “Still smiling thinking about this night Tanglewood Music Festival! It felt like we brought a little piece of Tennessee to Massachusetts. I will see you again.” Fans are commenting how much they enjoyed the night saying “She blew off the roof. It was a once in a lifetime experience” and how they can’t wait till she comes back again. Most fans are waiting for the day she announces she’s coming back again. Most fans even explain how much energy that Underwood gives are astounding. The next morning fans even explain how much adrenalin they still have from the previous night.
