This Year’s Lineup

Located at N. Pearl Street and Sheridan Avenue, the PearlPalooza stage will host five performances throughout the day. The lineup ranges from emerging Capital Region talent to established indie and alternative acts. Here’s the schedule:

Bruiser and bicycle
Indie rock four-piece Bruiser and Bicycle is set to perform at 1:30.
  • Albany Rock Pit | 12:30 p.m.
Opening the festival is Albany Rock Pit’s Showcase Band, featuring some of the Capital Region’s top student musicians between the ages of 11 and 18. The locally owned music school’s highest-performing students perform across a range of rock styles at venues and festivals throughout the region.
  • Bruiser and Bicycle | 1:30 p.m.
Next up is Albany indie rock four-piece Bruiser and Bicycle, whose sound pulls from freak-folk, experimental pop, jangle rock and art rock. Their eclectic approach brings a more unconventional edge to the afternoon lineup.
  • The Parlor | 2:30 p.m.
The Parlor, the project of Eric Krans and Jen O’Connor, blends neo-psychedelic rock, grunge and dream-pop textures. The duo will preview material from its upcoming album, Sun By Day | Moon By Night, a concept double album exploring psychological shadow work through sound collage and alternative dream-grunge.
  • Robber Robber | 3:45 p.m.
Burlington, Vermont’s Robber Robber brings a heavier, more experimental sound to the stage, combining indie rock, art rock and post-punk. Grinding guitars, krautrock-inspired rhythms, kinetic drums and ethereal vocals give the four-piece a sound that balances chaos with melody.
  • King Tuff | 5:30 p.m.
Music from King Tuff will wrap up the festival with his blend of garage rock, fuzz-pop, psych-folk and stoner rock. The Brattleboro, Vermont-based musician has been developing the King Tuff project since the early 2000s.
King Tuff closes out the PearlPalooza stage at 5:30 p.m.
